Large pile of horse manure catches fire near Leighton Buzzard
A pile of horse manure caused a stink after it caught fire on Friday afternoon (July 10).
A crew from Leighton Buzzard was called to Leighton Road, Wing, at 3.35pm.
The pile of horse dung measured 5m x 2m and had accidentally caught light.
A Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman, said: "Firefighters used a hose reel and stack drags to extinguish the fire, and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots."
