Count Binface includes Linslade boy's solar panel idea in official manifesto
Count Binface has updated his official manifesto to include an idea from a 10-year-old Linslade boy.
Jack Eftihiou sent 15 suggested pledges to the Clacton by-election candidate this summer – and was thrilled when Count Binface emailed to say that one of his points had been used for his campaign.

"Oil and gas companies to pay for solar panels for everyone. (From Jack, aged 10)," is number nine in Count Binface's manifesto, with Jack now dubbed 'Mini Binnie' on social media and comments calling: 'Jack for PM!'.
Jack said: "There were lots of things that I wanted to share with the world and I just wanted to express my true feelings. I thought it would be fun to do.

"[When I heard back from Count Binface] I was very excited and I ran around for a little while to get it out!"
Jack's father, Joe, 34, said: "We do tend to talk about politics. Jack is at middle school and we talk about what's happening, politicians, the by-election, and we had been watching interviews with Count Binface on YouTube.
"Looking on his website, children had been sending in manifestos, so Jack got a piece of paper and started writing down his policies.
"It was an opportunity for him to get involved in politics in a fun way."
The manifesto announcement on Instagram has now received 75.2k likes, with lots of people commenting about Jack's contribution.
"Oil and gas companies have been destroying the environment, and I thought that they needed to fix it," explained Jack.
The Linslade Middle pupil's full manifesto includes:
1. Bring Robot Wars Back
2. Make Dominoes 50 per cent off on Saturdays (the pizza).
3. Make the weekends five days long
4. Make graffiti walls so people do graffiti on them
5. More support for people struggling e.g. mental health
6. Stricter rules for poaching/littering
7. Cheaper Lego sets
8. Make oil and gas companies pay for solar panels for everyone

Count Binface (real name Jon Harvey) contests elections as the "intergalactic space warrior" Count Binface – whose slogan is "Make Your Vote Count".
The character aims to promote electoral participation and is from planet Sigma IX, arriving on Earth in 2017.
The Count Binface website states: "I stood against Prime Minister Theresa May (as ‘Lord Buckethead’), going viral (in a non-Covid way).
"Then in 2018, after an unfortunate battle on the planet Copyright, I rewspawned in my true form as Count Binface to take on Boris Johnson in the 2019 election, where I scored a surprising 69."
His latest stand is against Nigel Farage (Reform UK) in the 2026 Clacton by-election. Farage resigned as MP of Clacton amid increased scrutiny over his finances and a parliamentary investigation, and is now fighting to reclaim the Essex seat.
A total of 34 candidates are standing – many independent – and a full list can be seen here.
But Labour, the Conservatives, the Liberal Democrats, the Green Party and Restore Britain have all refused to contest the election.
On whether Count Binface (Count Binface Party) will become MP, Joe said: "I think Nigel Farage will win because he has been elected there before and people don't want to risk the novelty option.
"I think Count Binface does a good job of highlighting the importance of democracy in this country".
Jack said: "I don't want to say Count Binface will win, but I am keeping moderate hopes!"
The constituency of Clacton will go to the polls on August 13.
