Dinosaurs invade Leighton Buzzard Railway
Dinosaurs returned to the Leighton Buzzard Railway for a roarsome day of family fun.
Tyrannosaurus Rex – and some of his smaller friends – visited the railway at the weekend, entertaining visitors at the Stonehenge Works Station.

But there’s still plenty of summer fun in store.
The two-day beer festival returns this weekend, July 25 and 26. There will be a selection of ales, stouts and ciders along with hot food on offer.

And there will be a special timetable running, with bars waiting at both ends of the line. The festival runs from 11am to 8pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
Entry is £3 or free if you hold a valid train ticket for the day.
Don’t forget your water pistols for the Pirates Attack event over the August bank holiday – Sunday, August 30 and Monday, August 31.
Children who dress up as a pirate will receive a small treasure and travel token for a future trip on a normal running day.
There will be pirates to meet at Page’s Park station – and watch out for pirate ship attacks near the end of the line because the highlight of the journey will be a water fight between the Pirates of Page’s Park and those on the Pirate Ship of Stonehenge.
Anyone brave enough to travel in an open coach will get wet – and those in closed coaches aren’t guaranteed to stay dry either!
There will also be a treasure hunt at Stonehenge with the chance to win a small prize.
Extra school holiday trains will also be running every Wednesday and Thursday in August.
And Bluey will be visiting on September 6.
A steam ban has been introduced for safety because of the continuing hot and dry weather, but all services this summer will continue to run as planned with diesel locos.
