Alexander Olleson, 14, of All Saints Church Choir, won the final which was shown on BBC1 on Sunday, and All Saints say they are thrilled by his success.
Director of music, Paul Dickens, said: “Alexander gave a perfect performance of a very difficult song. Although we are of course biased, we thought he thoroughly deserved to win.

All Saints is inviting boys and girls in Years 4 to 13 who like singing to come along to the church at 12noon on Saturday, December 19 and be a chorister for an hour and see what it’s like.
Paul added: “If you love singing, it will be a great experience and lots of fun. At the end of the hour, we’re going to sing ‘ O Holy night’ with Alexander and record it as a contribution to the
Leighton/Linslade Mayor’s Concert which will be live-streamed on YouTube later that same day.”
