Phone box in Leighton Buzzard High Street to feature 'creative exhibitions'

A Leighton Buzzard phone box has been given a colourful makeover.

The "iconic red phone box" at the bottom of the High Street has been transformed into a space for "creative and interesting exhibitions" – thanks to the team at Artbox.LB.

The talented group recently produced a Lego Dress display to support Pride, and have now installed a new exhibit for Buzzstock Music Festival.

A Leighton-Linslade Town Council (LLTC) spokesman stated: "As these historic phone boxes are no longer needed for their original purpose, LLTC has adopted one to give it a new lease of life at the heart of our community.

"Keep an eye on the phone box throughout the year as it evolves with new displays, artwork and local stories."
