The man and woman, both described as white, stopped at a service station during their route, believed to have included the A45 and M1.

They are said to have argued, before the man allegedly drove off at speed, swerving in and out of traffic.

The car was stopped at a roundabout in Wellingborough and the woman attempted to get out, but was allegedly assaulted. The car was again driven off with the door open.
