I wasn’t planning another trip this summer, but this Eurostar deal has me tempted

I’ve just spotted a Eurostar offer that has got me seriously considering a last-minute European getaway, with up to 50% off selected trips. And with summer not quite over yet, it could be a good excuse to squeeze in one more city break before autumn properly arrives. Eurostar Snap lets you book last-minute seats at a cheaper price.

There is a catch, though. You don’t get to choose your exact departure time when booking a Snap fare, so it is better suited to anyone who has some flexibility with their travel plans. But if you’re interested in getting away for less than having every detail of your journey planned weeks in advance, it could be worth a look.

Eurostar sale is giving travellers up to 50% off selected last-minute seats, with destinations including London, Paris, Lille, Brussels and Amsterdam. Paris would probably be the first place I’d look at. There is something particularly tempting about being able to hop on the train from London and find yourself in the French capital without having to deal with airport transfers or the usual airport faff.

The big appeal of Eurostar Snap is the potential saving, particularly if you are flexible about when you travel. Rather than deciding on a specific train first and then checking the price, you essentially take the cheaper fare when it is available and work your plans around it.

I’m now seriously tempted to see what Eurostar Snap has available and work backwards from the cheapest fare. A European city break suddenly feels a little more achievable when the train ticket could be up to half price. If you have some flexibility over your travel time and fancy a last-minute escape, the Eurostar Snap offer could be worth checking before booking anything else.

☀️ Summer may be fading, but this deal is scorching. The TOG24 Jacinda Women’s Supersoft Jersey Playsuit has plummeted from £50 to just £8, saving shoppers £42 in a huge 84% reduction.

💗 Made mainly from soft viscose and cotton, the bright pink playsuit features an elasticated drawstring waist, back-button fastening and two handy hip pockets. It’s an easy throw-on outfit for holidays, warm weekends or getting next summer’s wardrobe sorted ludicrously early.

⚠️ The catch? Only selected sizes are still available, and an £8 clearance price is unlikely to help them hang around. Check whether your size has survived here.
