Still confirms Spillane was too expensive for Hatters

Hatters boss John Still admitted he had been priced out of a move for former Town defender Michael Spillane, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 24-year-old, who scored four in 49 games for Luton while on loan from Norwich City in 2008-09 as he helped the club win the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, joined Skrill Premier rivals Cambridge United last week.
