Rock away at Leighton Buzzard pub

There is lots of rock music coming to The Wheatsheaf in Leighton Buzzard on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday night there’s a double bill at the Wheatsheaf with five piece rock band False Idol from Milton Keynes.

They were formed in 2015 and numbers include stop-pretending, Trapped, Calling Out and Faking Heaven. The band consist of Jade Geoghegan on vocals, George Spennewyn - drummer, Zak Levkouskis and Daniel Harper on guitars and Hayden Purcell on bass.

The band are being supported by We are Giants, a four piece power pop and punk rock band from Northamptonshire. They were formed in October 2015. They do songs with beefy bass lines, filthy guitar riffs, ball shattering drum fills and catchy vocals.

Numbers include Brighter Days, Interlude and On Demand.

On Saturday Isabelle are back. They are six piece edgy pop/rock band from Leighton Buzzard, with a twist of funk and soul, are often to be seen performing at local events and music venues.

With original songs such as Complicated You penned by band member and song writer Tim Grover you can expect top music and covers ranging from the ‘60s to the present time as well.

Music at The Wheatsheaf starts about 9:30pm and entrance is free.
