Vintage inspired tea dance coming to Leighton Buzzard
A fabulous 1930's-inspired tea dance is coming to Leighton Buzzard next week. On Thursday 17th September, Tibbs Dementia Foundation will be hosting afternoon tea with a live band at Astral Park Community Centre. Guests will be treated to a delicious afternoon tea courtesy of Scarlett's Kitchen and live music from the Liquorice Band. Dancing will be encouraged! It promises to be a truly decadently vintage affair, with a complimentary hair and makeup glamour station open from 11.30am-12.30pm.

All proceeds raised will help to support the work of the Foundation and contribute to keeping their four groups in Leighton Buzzard going. These include a weekly cognitive stimulation therapy group and carer support group. Tibbs Dementia Foundation are an award-winning Bedfordshire dementia charity dedicated to offering social opportunities and support to those living with dementia or memory loss, plus their family carers. They have groups all over Central Bedfordshire. In addition to their Leighton Buzzard offering, they also run activities in Edlesborough and Dunstable.
Spaces at the dance are limited so people are encouraged to book as soon as possible.
