Santa flies in from Lapland to visit hospice

Some very important little patients at Keech Hospice Care had a surprise visit from Santa who’d flown in specially from Lapland, courtesy of travel agents Thomson.

He was accompanied by Thomson the Dog who helped him distribute cuddly toys and festive chocolates.

Thomson spokesman Ian Chapman said Santa usually spends the run-up to Christmas in the company’s resorts at Kittila, Roviniemi and Saariselka but had made the trip “to bring a bit of magic to deserving children.”
He added: “Keech provides such amazing support for so many young people and their families and we felt it was a perfect place for a visit from Santa.”
