Wellbeing at the Bandstand

This summer the Bandstand in Parson’s Close Recreation Ground has been a hive of activity, with over 30 people attending the Yoga and Tai Chi sessions every Saturday.
Our experienced yoga instructor, Michaela, has been delivering morning yoga sessions with a focus on stretching, strengthening, and relaxing. Participants have enjoyed several beautiful sunny mornings outdoors, with the wind whispering in the trees above.
In the afternoon, our expert Ian leads a Tai Chi session to help improve balance and core strength, while soaking up the rays of the sun.
We all know that sunshine, fresh air, and gentle exercise within our own community are a great way to improve our wellbeing and health—and what a wonderful way to use a community space, meet like-minded people, and get to know your local wellbeing community.
Come and join us! Sessions take place on Saturdays at 9:45am for Yoga, and 2pm for Tai Chi, until the 30th of August.
All sessions are free and funded by Leighton-Linslade Town Council.
