Leighton Buzzard and Linslade pubs recognised with Best Bar None accreditation

Pubs in Leighton Buzzard and Linslade have been awarded for maintaining the highest standards of safety, management, and customer care after getting Best Bar None accreditation.

The Central Bedfordshire Council scheme, started in 2017, recognises venues that prioritise the safety of their staff and guests, as well as the cleanliness and tidiness of their spaces.

The Picture House in Leighton Buzzard and the Globe Inn in Linslade were given the title for 2025.

Councillor Liz Childs said: “Congratulations to all our accredited venues who have demonstrated that public safety and customer care are their top priority.

“Best Bar None plays a key role in supporting a safe and enjoyable night-time economy across Central Bedfordshire, and these venues have shown real commitment to maintaining high standards for visitors and residents.”

The council also supports the scheme through safety initiatives, like a radio link system for reporting incidents, CCTV, staff training, and awareness campaigns.
