Chairman and founder of The Dunstable & Leighton Buzzard Truck Convoy makes welcome return to The Breakfast Club.

Whenever I drop an article into the LBO......it brings me joy as I'm always talking about the amazing support and community spirit here in Leighton-Linslade. Today (Saturday 15 November) is no different.

Here at the Leighton Buzzard branch of the RBL we held our final Breakfast Club of 2025. As well as our usual supporters we were also joined by Graham Munt.

Graham is a well known figure in and around Leighton Buzzard. Many of you will know him for being associated with Dunstable & Leighton Buzzard Truck Convoy and Show Graham started the Convoy back in 2015 with approximately 32 trucks,

Each year the Convoy has grown and this year (2025) there were more than 250 trucks. Over the years Graham and his team have supported many charities, including: Help for Heros "H4H", The Royal British Legion, Air Ambulance and Scotty's Little Soldiers to name a few. Tens of thousands of pounds have been raised for all of these worthy causes.

Once again Graham and his team have been following the work of The Leighton Buzzard branch of the RBL. He felt that the Truck Convoy would like to support the RBL. He decided the Breakfast Club would be an ideal opportunity to present a cheque to branch chairman; Stuart Clarke. The cheque for £300 will go to the County Welfare Fund for use in the LU7 postcode area.

The branch are very grateful to Graham for this generous donation.

Plans are already well underway for the 2026 Truck Convoy. More than 250 trucks are expected to set off from The Herts Showground, heading through Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The convoy will then spend the weekend at Billington Showground. As ever they will be led by "The War Truck".

Thanks to Graham and good luck in 2026.
