Luton & Dunstable Hospital awarded £5.7m funding to upgrade A&E facilities before winter

Luton and Dunstable Hospital has been awarded £5.7m to upgrade its accident and emergency facilities ahead of winter.

The L&D's award is part of a £450 million pot from the government to improve A&Es across the country.

The £5.7 million will be used to expand and upgrade A&E facilities at the hospital, ensuring they have enough space to treat patients, manage patient flow and improve infection control.
