Seaside antics in Buckinghamshire

Enjoy a splashing time with a giant free weekend in Kingsbury, Aylesbury as the town council invites everyone to the annual Aylesbury On Sea event.

There will be plenty of seaside favourites recreated in the landlocked town.

There will be a chance to climb inside a 50ft giant whale for underwater stories of mermaids and pirates; marvel at a giant lobster and slide on a giant creature of the deep.

Plus all the traditional favourites including sand, deckchairs, donkey rides, a brass quartet, magic shows and a bouncy castle.

The seaside extravaganza takes place from 11am-4pm on Sunday July 3. Most things are located in Kingsbury, but the giant whale will be in the museum gardens.
