Country lane closed after Friday collision

A black Renault Clio and a white BMW were involved in the incident on Sheep Lane, close to the Flying Fox in Woburn at 5.56pm.

An ambulance attended but only minor injuries were suffered.

The Highways Agency was also called to the scene to assist Bedfordshire Police with the removal of debris from the roads.

The roads re-opened at 9.20pm.

One motorist said: “It was a bit of a hassle as the road was closed at the busiest possible time on a Friday evening, but at least nobody was hurt.

“There are a lot of sharp twists and bends along those roads out to Milton Keynes from Leighton Buzzard.”
