Serving inspector at Bedfordshire Police due in court over child sex offences

A serving Bedfordshire Police officer is due to appear in court tomorrow (Thursday), after being charged with child sex offences.
Inspector Scott Raghib, aged 45, was arrested in June 2024 as part of an investigation by Northamptonshire Police and was immediately suspended from duty.
He has since been charged with three child sex offences, which are alleged to have taken place off-duty in 2005 while Inspector Raghib was a serving officer.
He will appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court.
