The whole school took part on Friday, March 18, taking part in a big warm up before heading out of the school under adult supervision to complete the one-mile route.

Head of sport at the primary school, Mr Reid, fellow teaching staff and head teacher Mrs Tamlyn, are all extremely proud of all of the children, who took part and who made a sterling effort to help raise money for the cause.

Pupils held a cake sale after the end of the school day, to add to their fundraising efforts. The staff and children would also like to thank mums, dads and carers for buying their cakes, and making it a sell out success.

The school are hoping that they will have raised a large amount of money and that their efforts will have helped to make a huge difference.

All of the children also hope that the money they’ve raised will help as many people as possible, and that through sharing their love for all people around the world, they will have played their part.
