The three-week run has just ended at Leighton Buzzard Library Theatre to critical acclaim.

A review by NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) stated: “Surrounded as they are by several major towns within spitting distance, with at least 4 professional theatres offering ‘celeb’ studded pantomimes at the same time of year, it is remarkable that this group can run one for three weeks with a total of 15 performances and sell out just about every one of them.

“That must be the envy of most groups and deserves an award in its own right.”

A spokesman for the drama group said: “We would like to say a big thank you to all the people that have come and supported us to what has been a sell out show with a fantastic reviews from the public and from the professionals.

“If it wasn’t for your support we couldn’t do what we love the most and that is to entertain the public of Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding areas.”

The group’s next production will be Black Adder in June.
