The book has been somewhat of a family affair, as while David is the author, his son Toby has created the cover and all the illustrations.

Hide AdRevealing a little about the main character’s adventures, David told the LBO: “Tristan is a 15-year-old loner who loves music but has trouble with schoolwork, fitting in and suffers some friction with his father. To cope, he listens to music and attempts to learn the violin.
“While enjoying his music, he begins to experience something magical – an insight into another world and imagination without limit. This leads to his involvement in a war between life-enhancing music in total harmony, against plain noise dissonancing in migraines of total chaos - to put simply, between good and evil.
“Tristan meets friends who become very dear to him as he helps the bright Land of Music stay musical and beautiful and not lost forever in the dark evil of noise and chaos.”
David has been working with Terrie Sizemore of A2Z Press LLC, Florida, for well over a year, writing a variety of picture/story books.
