‘Moment to behold’ as young footballers in Linslade receive brand new kit
Young footballers in Linslade will be kicking off the season in a brand-new kit.
Linslade Galaxy Meerkats Under 9 Girls have swapped their mismatched, hand-me-downs for brand new official kits.

The move is courtesy of Unite the Union’s Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire District Branch.
Assistant coach Jeff Hodge said stepping out in new kits instead of their hand-me-downs has given the squad a massive surge of pride.
He added: “The girls are made up. They now have a brand new kit for the first time in three years. It’s a testament to the branch in recognising and supporting girls football in the community.
“The smile it put on their faces when handed their new kits was something to behold. Their first game wa postponed, so they’re absolutely buzzing to get started this weekend and looking forward to a new season.
“Also a massive thanks to Unite the Union for backing grassroots football and investing right where it counts, showing these young players their game matters.”
