Earlier bin collections due to heatwave in Central Bedfordshire
Early bin collections will take place in Central Bedfordshire due to the hot weather – so make sure yours are out on time.
The council's waste and recycling crews will be starting earlier this week (June 22 – June 26) to help them work in the cooler part of the day.
Collections will begin from around 6.20am to 6.30am – instead of the usual 7am start – so please make sure your bins are out the night before or by 6am on your collection day.
A Central Bedfordshire Council spokesman said: "As previous years, crews will return for any bins missed because they weren’t presented in time.
