'˜Rock your bongos off' at charity dance

It takes place at Tilsworth Golf Club on Friday, January 29 and tickets are £35 each. The price includes a buffet with veggie options and there will be prizes for the best dressed senor and senorita.

Charity founder Linda Sear promised: “This evening is guaranteed a high feel-good factor.

“We’ve hired the UK’s number one Anglo-Cuban band – The Swan vesta Social Club – and they’re coming direct to us from the Latin Quarter in St Albans.

“Seating will be cabaret style so you can sit and listen between rocking your bongos off.”

Reclaim Life started five years ago to help patients who need more than a 10 minute appoinntment with their doctor to sort out their lives.

Linda, from Eggington, was instrumental in setting up the charity in Salisbury House Surgery, Lake Street.

She said: “We give five free lessons of life coaching. It’s not counselling, which is more about being reflective and looking back.

“With our methods, we turn people around and get them going forward with a smile on their face.

“We have a tremendous success rate – to date we’ve helped more than 800.”
As a result, they’re constantly on the lookout for people to come forward to train as life coaches and run regular courses for anyone who’s interested.
