Hatters’ lead cut to eight as Cambridge held

Hatters’ saw their lead at the top of the Skrill Premier cut to eight points after Cambridge were held to a 0-0 draw by Wrexham last night, writes Mike Simmonds.

Richard Money’s side are now level on games with Town too and Luton have a great chance to extend the advantage to 11 points at the weekend United are in FA Trophy action against Grimsby, with Luton travelling to Nuneaton in the league.

Meanwhile, Grimsby suffered a dent to their play-off chances, going down 2-1 at Barnet, while Salisbury moved into the top five as they won 2-1 at Tamworth.
