Returning Emberson reveals nothing’s changed at Kenilworth Road

Carl Emberson has revealed Kenilworth Road has hardly changed a jot since he left, writes Mark Wood.

The 39-year-old former keeper turned first team development coach last played for the Hatters in 2003.

Emberson helped the Hatters to promotion during his stay at Kenilworth Road, and has been looking out for them ever since, most recently at League Two Bristol Rovers.

He also revealed that Luton’s set-up is superior to that of the Pirates and it’s only at away games that he realises he’s back in non-league.
