Free social dancing at Leighton Buzzard's Lark in the Park

Lark in the Park will offer free social dancing in Leighton Buzzard this summer.

People are invited to the bandstand in Parson’s Close Recreation Ground for "relaxed summer mornings" filled with "swing music, social dancing, and great company".

The dates are as follows: Saturday, June 27; Saturday, July 18; Saturday, August 15 (11am until 1pm); Saturday, September 5.

A Leighton-Linslade Town Council spokesman, said: "Whether you love to dance or simply enjoy live music in the open air, Lark in the Park is the perfect feel good event for all ages.

"Bring your friends, pack a picnic, and soak up the summer atmosphere."

The events are free to attend, with no booking required.

The sessions will run from 10.30am to 1pm. The dance class will run from 10.30am until 11am, with social dancing starting at 11am.
