This will be their seventh year with the club and Jaquie Dixon, the volunteers co ordinator for the charity said " Having the support of AVGC has enabled us to become more well known within the Leighton Buzzard community, by being able to advertise and get our name and the service we offer out to more households and families that need extra support during a difficult time.  We have also been able to offer further services as a result of their support, such as our very successful wellbeing treatments.  These are provided by Anita Noble from Bare Essentials in town, who visits our clients at home.  We are very grateful to be part of the Golf Club and we enjoy attending their events and helping out in any way we can."

Whilst at the captains day, last years mens captain, Alan Connell, presented the charity with a cheque for £7,650, the amount raised during the last year.
