It’s party time again
“We are grateful to our sponsors for helping us to put on this very popular event to allow young families to have a fun day without having to worry about the cost”
Carnival’s Picnic in the Park returns on Wednesday 17th June in Parsons Close Recreation Ground from 10am until 2pm. The event is aimed at preschool children.

We will have a free fairground ride (sponsored by Harpenden Building Society), free face painting for children aged 3+ and Andy’s Awesome Party show at 11.00, 12.00 and 13.00.
Alongside the free entertainment there will be a variety of stalls; the café will be open for drinks, ice cream, snacks; the splash park will be open as will the accessible play area and the beach.

Programmes for the Carnival in July will be available and Carnival Draw tickets will be on sale.
A spokesman from Carnival said: “We are grateful to our sponsors for helping us to put on this very popular event to allow young families to have a fun day without having to worry about the cost. Our team of volunteers work hard to provide this day, in addition to organising the annual Town Carnival.”
