Poppy Prom Concert 2026
The National Poppy Appeal will be launched in Leighton‑Linslade this autumn with the return of the much‑loved Poppy Prom Concert, hosted by The Bedfordshire Band of the Royal British Legion. This flagship community event takes place at 7pm on Saturday 17th October 2026 in All Saints Church, Leighton Buzzard, bringing together music, remembrance, and local pride.

This year’s concert will be held in the presence of The King’s representative, The Deputy Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Air Commodore Gordon Moulds CBE DL RAF (Rtd), alongside local Mayors and dignitaries.
The evening features performances from the band and the exceptional voices of Chanteuses, and will also celebrate a renewed collaboration with local singer Lissie Allsopp. Following her fantastic appearance with the band at this year’s Proms in the Park, she will once again join the band for performances throughout the night.
A highlight of the concert will be the traditional and moving Parade of Standards, under the command of Parade Marshall Tony Cousins, honouring service and sacrifice across the Armed Forces community.
Attendees can enjoy raffle prizes and refreshments, with tickets available in advance via the QR code on the official posters, you can also use this link;
