Quizzing in Linslade

On Friday evening 5th June, teams from Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire pitted their wits against each other in the National Women’s Register (NWR) annual Area Quiz.

The event took place in the community hall at St Barnabas Church. Organised by last year’s winners, one of Leighton Buzzard’s two NWR groups, the quiz challenged participants on a wide range of topics such as Women in Sport, Culture, British Citizenship, Elizabeth II, and Pioneering Women. Throughout the evening quizzers were treated to refreshments including savoury dips and home-made cakes.

This year’s winners were the team from Luton & S. Bedfordshire Villages. Congratulations to them!
