Rotary wrap-up campaign is booming

Leighton Linslade Rotary Club have been humbled by the response to their coat collection which has been quite stunning with over 350 coats donated in the first two weeks. The club are now busy sorting the coats and distributing them to charitable groups who help needy families within the town and local area.  The coats are of great quality and have been sorted into Child, Youth, Women and Men's groups, so all sizes are available.  As the response has been so good there are plenty of coats to go round.

The club has already delivered 50 coats to Rosie, Manager at Leighton Linslade Homeless Service for onward distribution to families they help in the town.

Due to the fantastic response if you know a charity group that could utilise any coats please email Rotary at [email protected]

The coat collection scheme runs until the end of November.  Coat collection boxes are located at: All Saints Church, Bassett Road Surgery, Cedars and Linslade Middle Schools, Wyngates Allotments, Tesco Coniston Road, Leighton Linslade Golf Club and the new Leisure Centre.
