Bedfordshire business owner shortlisted for two national awards
Bex Howe, owner of Howe To Consultancy, is a finalist in the Woman Who Achieves Awards 2025 and the East of England UK Start-Up Awards 2025.
Established in 2022, Howe To Consultancy provides training, consultancy and advocacy for school stakeholders, providing pupils with purposeful and creative school-based experiences and learning. Through honest, supportive and reflective conversations, Bex works collaboratively with leaders to design and facilitate development activities.
The Woman Who Achieves Awards, founded by Sandra Garlick MBE, celebrate the achievements of women in business across the UK. This year marks the 10th anniversary of these prestigious awards, taking place on 9th May 2025 at Coombe Abbey Hotel
The UK StartUp Awards was launched to recognise the booming start-up scene across the UK. Over 750 businesses have been shortlisted for this year’s UK StartUp Awards and the contribution of these firms - all of which were started in the last three years - is significant, having created over 4,600 new jobs since they were established and generating annual sales of £200 million. The cohort of finalists will be considered for the regional prizes by a panel of seasoned judges with experience founding or supporting entrepreneurial ventures. The winners from each region will then be invited to the first UK final taking place at Ideas Fest, the Glastonbury for Business festival in Hertfordshire on 12th September 2025.

“It is very humbling to have been nominated as a finalist for these two awards, amongst so many other purpose minded businesses. When I began Howe To Consultancy it was to provide greater opportunity for me to support individuals, teams and organisations in identifying and addressing the challenges that they face. To be recognised, nationally, for the impact that my work has had on those that I have been privileged to work with is amazing”
