Schools in Leighton Linslade are great sports and here's the proof they are making their mark

Sport England has announced that schools within the Leighton Linslade School Sports Partnership area, which is hosted at Vandyke Upper School, will retain their current School Games Mark status for another year.

Of the 28 schools within Leighton Linslade School Sports Partnership eligible to apply for the award, 78% will retain at Platinum Level, 12% of schools will maintain Gold Status and further 10% will continue to have Silver or Bronze status.

These figures ensure that the Leighton Linslade School Sports Partnership continues to be the highest within the Eastern Region and within the top 3% across the country.

“These fantastic results are due to an impressive, sustained effort over the last few years from all schools within the area, working together and providing opportunities for our young people to engage thrive and develop through PE and School Sport,” said Vandyke headteacher, Tim Carroll.
