Still plenty of live music at Leighton Buzzard's Wheatsheaf as new management team takes over

The Wheatsheaf in Leighton Buzzard is continuing to entertain customers with live music from a variety of bands.
At the end of last year, previous landlords - Liz and Geoff Bottoms, left the pub after 35 years - and the pub, on North Street, welcomed a new management team.

Hide AdZoe Cooper and her assistant manager, Callum Harper, are keeping the pub's tradition of hosting live music nights.
Zoe said: "We at the Wheatsheaf will be continuing our famous tradition of hosting live music from a great variety of bands, new and old every Friday and Saturday night.
"Any bands out there wishing to play, please feel free to get in touch.
"We have also added an open mic night, every first Friday of every month and a regular quiz night, all are welcome.

With a new management team, comes a new look for the pub.
Zoe added: "Most of the painting has been done, we have new tables and chairs and there is still quite a bit of work that we want to do to improve it.
"We are really enjoying it, the regulars are really friendly and have showed us a lot of support.
"The pub has got a great atmosphere and we are looking forward to the future as we have lots planned!
"We plan to bring a modern touch to the old school feel of the Wheaty - classic but cool, with good vibes."
