Police had been called to reports of a possible break-in in progress – but following "extensive enquiries” Bedfordshire Police says no evidence was found to suggest that Harry was involved in a burglary.

A spokesman said: "An investigation was launched by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, and four men were arrested in connection with the incident.

"A man in his 60s was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The other three men have since been released and will face no further action."

An inquest at The Court House, Ampthill, was opened today (September 16) where the provisional cause of death was given as asphyxia with compression of the neck.

Detective Inspector Caeva Taylor, said: “We are working hard to establish the circumstances around this tragic incident and are continuing to follow several lines of enquiry.

“Our thoughts remain with Harry’s family and loved ones at this very difficult time, and we ask that people respect their privacy as they deal with their loss.”
