Hunt for burglars who stole cash from house

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary along the A5 at Hockliffe last month.

On Wednesday, February 24, a house was broken into in Watling Street between 4pm and 7pm. The intruders carried out a messy search of the property before stealing cash.

PC Paul Falcon, investigating, said: “This is a busy road and the offence took place during rush hour so I am urging anyone that saw anything suspicious to get in touch.

“We are committed to tackling burglary and are appealing for the public to work with us to bring these offenders to justice.”
