The kind-hearted team has organised the show in aid of the Leighton-Linslade Helpers fund, which will go towards supporting the volunteers as they continue to carry out vital work during the pandemic.

An Advance Theatre Company spokeswoman said: “We have brought together local, national and international performers for a musical extravaganza full of showstoppers, including group numbers, solos, duets and so much more.

“All of this has been recorded and edited during lockdown by our fantastic members and can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home.

“All you need to do in order to watch our first ever virtual concert is subscribe to our YouTube channel. You will then be informed of the start of the concert and there will be a countdown just before the stream begins.”

In return for the free concert, Advance Theatre Company is hoping residents will date some money towards the Leighton-Linslade Helpers fund.

The spokeswoman added: “We are honored to be able to support this incredible local organisation and we hope to be able to raise some funds to help them with their incredible community work.
