An official start date is to be confirmed.

A Leighton-Linslade Town Council spokesman, said: "Following discussions with the Internal Drainage Boards, this work has been identified as necessary to ensure the system remains clear and fully operational.

"The culvert plays an important role in the area's flood defence network, allowing excess water to flow back to the balancing pond and helping to reduce the risk of local flooding.

"Our contractor will be carrying out the vegetation removal safely and carefully."

The work is expected to take approximately one week.

The spokesman added: "We appreciate your patience while these important improvements are carried out."

Please get in touch with the town council if you have any questions or would like further information.
