One of the changes it is seeking permission for is to be able to perform live music on the premises between midday and 11pm from Monday to Thursday and on Sundays, and between midday and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

The sports bar has also applied to remove some conditions of the premises licence and replace these with new ones.

The full application can be viewed by arrangement with Central Bedfordshire Council, while any representations related to the application must be made by January 2 2026.

Owner Liam Doherty said The Cue and Arrow has had an ‘amazing first year’.

"As we look to the next chapter, we’d like to be able to offer more events on special occasions for our members, as well as the wider Leighton Buzzard community and their families,” Debbie said.

"The changes we have applied for would allow us to do this more effectively. We hope to bring even more choice of entertainment to the people of Leighton Buzzard in 2026.”
