Dan Burgess made a video of his neighbours last Friday, who were marking the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
Despite swathes of events and swarming parades being cancelled because of the coronavirus lockdown, people still found ways to come together to pay tribute to those who served.

Hide AdDan, of Russell Way, said: “I made an impromptu video about the celebrations in our street.
“My wife, Alice, and I walked around the block twice during the day and captured people celebrating. I just wanted to show people that we are surrounded by some great people with a wonderful community spirit, even in these troubled times.”
The couple decided to take a break from painting and decorating in their home and get involved with the celebrations.
“It was amazing to see everyone,” said Dan.
“The day was fantastic and we were really surprised with the response to our video.”
