Scooter ride to deliver Easter eggs to Stoke Mandeville Hospital

Last year's scooter charity ride from Ollie Vees to Stoke Mandeville Hospital to deliver eggs to children.

The annual Easter scooter ride will take off from Ollie Vees at 11.15am on Saturday, March 19.

The first stop on the tour is Morrisons and the scooters will be travelling through Slapton, Aldbury, Tring, Aylesbury and onto the hospital.

This year the club will also be fundraising to buy TV’s for the children’s wards.

Bruce Middleweek, of Buzzard Scooter Club, said: “There will be an emphasis this year on fundraising to buy TV’s and toys for children at the hospital.

“We hope to deliver lots of Easter eggs, like we have done the last three years, but also to deliver toys and TV’s.

“We would appreciate any donations people can give.

“Donations, Easter eggs and toys can be handed in to Billie Littlechild at Ollie Vees shop, Market Square and there will be a collection bucket available each Saturday at Ollie Vees from midday.”
