Sunshine and music from Leighton-Linslade Concert Band
Popular music from Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom of the Opera and Skyfall drifted across Parson's Close Recreation Ground when the Leighton-Linslade Concert Band entertained the crowds on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon.
After the event, band members and friends enjoyed a barbecue at Pulford School, which was supplied by Stratton Butchers.
Leighton Linslade Town Council has organised Sunday afternoon band concerts in Parson’s Close Recreation Ground for a number of years. These showcase brass and silver bands from around the region.
The Leighton-Linslade Concert Band was formed in 2008 by its original director of music, Bill Pollard.
