While some people may dream about living in a world made of chocolate, others are more partial to a bit of cheese - whether it’s on pizza, chips, or served with some grapes and wine.

If you consider yourself a bit of a cheese enthusiast, you can now take your passion for the snack to the next level and indulge in a wonderfully cheesy stay at the world’s first cheese-themed hotel.

The Cheese Suite

Opening in Camden, London later this month, the pop-up cheese-themed hotel suite has been created by Café Rouge in homage to its new fromage-filled menu.

Dubbed ‘The Cheese Suite’, the room will be draped from head-to-toe in cheese-themed decor, including bedding, wallpaper, cushions, throws, giant installations and even cheese soap.

Cheese-themed board games will also feature in the room, as well as cheesy music playlists to keep guests entertained.

There will also be cheese boards and crackers galore for guests to snack on, as well as a hotline delivery service so you can get cheese delivered straight to your door.

The room is self-catered so guests can cook for themselves using some of the cookbooks available, or they can order a selection of dishes from Café Rouge’s new menu, including breaded Camembert and a cheese afternoon tea.

When will it open?

The unique suite will be opening in London’s Camden on 29 January, but it will only stay open for a limited time until 6 February - although stays will be completely free.

The suite has been created for charity, so instead of paying for the room, guests are asked to instead make a donation to the Prince’s Trust in return.

The pop-up room is currently still being created, but Café Rouge has shared a sneak peak of what it will look like with some concept art, but it promises to be exceptionally cheesy in every aspect.

How to stay

The cheesy suite is being made available to nine guests only, although each person will be allowed to bring along a friend.

If you want to experience it for yourself, simply email [email protected] and you will be entered into a ballot to win a one-night stay.
