Fraser Franks: 7 - Has been impeccable since joining from Welling and was again to the fore at the Abbey.

Steve McNulty: 6.5 - Elliott looked to expose the experienced defender’s lack of pace, but did well to keep his shape alongside Franks.

Alex Lawless: 5.5 - Creative midfielder was busy as always, but far too often hit the first man with his set-piece delivery and lacked quality on the night.

Jake Howells: 5.5 - Harsh early booking curtailed his influence and never really got the rub of the green as he looked to get in behind the U’s defence.

Scott Griffiths: 7.5 - Tenacious full-back put in another all-action display as Town’s defence were forced to absorb plenty of pressure.

Cameron McGeehan: 5.5 - The game seemed to bypass the young midfielder who struggled to make his mark on the night until heading back across goal for the equaliser.

Ronnie Henry: 6.5: Skipper was again a steadying influence for the Town and it was his testing cross that led to the last-gasp leveller.

Paul Benson 5.5 - Cambridge’s defence gave the Town target man a real battering as he and his team-mates received no protection from the officials.

Andre Gray 5.5 - Livewire striker picked up an early knock and was subsequently well-marshalled by United’s impressive back four.

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu: 5.5 - Carrying a knock the powerful midfield never really got to grips with Cambridge’s industrious midfield.

Matt Robinson (sub): 6 - Youngster made a real difference in midfield when he came on as he enjoyed some joy down the right-hand side.

Mark Cullen (sub): 7 - Striker made a massive impact as he chased everything that moved and produced a great finish to hook home Hatters’ last-gasp leveller.

Andy Parry (sub): 5.5 - Good to see the returning youngster back in action and did his best to put himself about in the last 10 minutes.
