McNulty welcomes Thomas’ addition
Defender Steve McNulty was happy to see Wayne Thomas follow him in to Kenilworth Road last week, writes Mark Wood.
The 33-year-old joined from Greek side Veroia recently, but is yet to play due to his international clearance not coming through.
McNulty said: “We’ve got a lot of games coming up. We need that strength-in-depth if we’re going to go on here to hopefully win the league.
“Everyone’s going to be used, everyone’s going to be called on.
“There’s been a great squad of players that have been brought in, we’re just the added touches hopefully to them getting promoted.
“They’ve got the points on the board already we’re just coming in to try and help them over the line.”
