Stoke forward Brunt hopes to hit the big time after joining Town on work experience

STRIKER Ryan Brunt is hoping to grab the limelight after his work experience switch to Luton Town last week, writes Mike Simmonds.

The Stoke City forward moved to Kenilworth Road on Wednesday and was named in the match day squad for the clash at Cambridge United.

After making his senior debut, replacing James Dance on 77 minutes in the 1-1 draw, he is now aiming to have a major impact in the weeks to come.

Brunt said: “I want to score a few goals, get in the limelight really, get that experience of men’s football.

“I think that’s the big thing, it’s not the same as playing youth team, so it’s a different atmosphere and it’s good.”
