National finals await for young Harlequins after regional joys

The end of February brought the start of the tumbling and Acro competitions for the gymnasts at Harlequin, hoping to qualify for the National Finals.

For many of the tumblers it was their first Regional Competition with lots of tough opposition. They all did amazing to hold their own.

In National 1 Women’s Aged 9/10 years, Clara Foster was 10th with a score 73.20, Charlotte Bolton was 12th with a score of 48.30, Elizabeth Hardie was 6th with a score of 73.95, Emma Layzell was 9th with a score of 73.35 and Cassidy Pratt came 1st (76.05).

In National 1 Women’s 13+, Chloe Leslie was 3rd with a score of 73.65.

In National 2 Women’s 9/10 years, Isobel Jackson was 7th with a score of 71.25, Thalia Marrone came 1st with a score of 76.20.

In National 2 Women’s 11/12 years, Ellie Watson was 8th with a score of 72.60, Olivia Lawrence was 6th with a score of 73.65

In National 2 Women’s 13+ years, Annabel Cook was 6th with a score of 72.60, Madison Ferguson was 5th with a score of 73.05, Dana McLean was 4th with a score of 74.55.

In the Acro Aiden and Louisa came 3rd in the mixed grade 2 pairs. Evie Freya and Summer came 5th in Grade 2 Trios . Then in the Grade 3 Trios Sophie, Zoe and Millie 9th, Evie, Chloe, Isobel 15th and Carla, Lucy and Lauren 16th.
