Two Pigeons And A Pizza Box – Leighton Buzzard singer to preview new album at town venue

Leighton Buzzard musician and West End leading lady Natasha Seale is previewing her new album Two Pigeons And A Pizza Box, at a special concert in the town next month.

The concert at Leighton Buzzard Library Theatre was arranged after one of the new album’s new tracks, Harvest, was featured as ‘track of the week' on Jazz FM's Mark Walker's Dinner Jazz show.

"We're bringing Two Pigeons And A Pizza Box, for one night only, straight from London for a rare pre launch at LB library on Friday, October 23,” said Natasha.

“This special concert promises a wonderful evening featuring local support and my world class band with Leighton Buzzard accordion player Karen Street joining us. I'm hoping to involve arts groups and make it a real community event.”

And, when not in the teaching studio, Natasha is a prominent fixture on the regional live music scene as an active gigging artist.

Natasha has also enjoyed a 25-year career spanning music and theatre, with leading roles in London’s West End, including Les Misérables, Aspects of Love and Mamma Mia! as well as appearing as Despina in Glyndebourne’s only Hip H’Opera School4Lovers.

Described by Bebop Spoken Here as ‘a jazz lady at heart’ her recent project, Ellington Seale’d, sold out performances at PizzaExpress Jazz Club, Crazy Coqs and the 606 Club.

Her acclaimed Rosemary Clooney production, performed at the Queen’s Theatre and Riverhouse Barn, also received widespread praise.

Natasha’s album, Two Pigeons And A Pizza Box, follows her critically acclaimed album A Bigger Sky: Timeless Torch Songs which premiered at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival with the support of Arts Council England and Help Musicians.
