Charity Christmas Fayre to raise funds for Dementia UK in memory of much-loved dad
A charity Christmas fayre is being held in Heath and Reach this November to raise money for Dementia UK in memory of a much-loved father, husband, grandfather and friend.

Organised by local resident Sarah Woodfield, the event will take place on Saturday 28th November 2026, from 11am to 3pm at The Village Barn, Heath and Reach.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of stalls selling Christmas gifts, crafts and other festive treats, with local small businesses coming together to support the event. Entry is free, with light refreshments available in return for donations to Dementia UK.
Sarah, who lost her dad, John, in March this year, said: “I wanted to do something positive in his memory while raising money for a charity that does such important work.
“Dementia affects so many families, and it can be heartbreaking for everyone involved. The support Dementia UK provides makes a real difference to people going through incredibly difficult times.
“I really hope people will come along, enjoy some festive shopping, support our wonderful local businesses and help us raise as much money as possible. Every donation, however small, will be greatly appreciated.”
The fayre promises to be a lovely opportunity for the local community to come together, get into the Christmas spirit and support a very worthwhile cause.
